Everlasting Treat Ball

I was told about this Everlasting Treat Ball from a friend of mine.  She has dogs that are good at destroying things like Lola.  She said this treat ball keeps her dogs occupied for hours.  So I figured, why not try it.  I should have known better.  Hours in my house usually means minutes.

Within a few minutes it looked like this.

Yes, she managed to pull the treat part out of the ball and eat it within minutes.  So as an alternative, I filled the holes in the ball with her food.  And that distracted her a little longer.  It is another good alternative for food dispensers.

  5. Hm, you and I are a lot alike, Lola! I chew through EVERYTHING that people say lasts forever with their powerful chewers... Only things I still have are my kongs (original, I chew through the new stuff they have) and nylabones. My new favorite toy is a Rhino red Nylabone. It's softer, but I can't get through it no matter how hard I try!

  6. Ha ha! You are so talented Roo! I haven't destroyed my treat balls yet! I actually have two treat dispensers. One is called the "monster ball" and the other one is called the "busy buddy," I think it's by the same people who make the everlasting treat ball. You can adjust the level of difficulty. I really like mine and haven't destroyed them yet! Mom will break up my treats and put them in the busy buddy and I have to push it around to get the treats out, it is fun!

PS: You look so pretty after your bath...woof!!!

  7. One of my dogs did this too with that toy, lol. We tried cramming the treat in the center of the ball - it was really in there tight and we didn't think she'd ever get it out. In the end she just destroyed the blue part and got the treat anyway. They're too darn smart (and strong!) sometimes.
