It was a busy weekend for both Lola and I. I had meetings and other get togethers. And I took Lola to a new place to get a bath. (The last place I took her was a major chain store and I was not happy.) So, I asked a friend where he takes his dog. And I have to say I was very happy, and I was happy that is was a local small business owner.
When I picked Lola up she came out happy as could be. And she looked and smelled great. I brought her home and we went for a nice walk. And sure enough after 5 minutes of walking...
Rolling the grass. That's right she was clean for about 30 minutes at the most. But at least she got nails trimmed, ears cleaned and teeth brushed.
Lola also lucked out and got a new toy.
And since it is a rope it not destroyed . . . .yet.
Hope everybody had a good weekend.

Happy Monday!
Monday always comes so fast,, doesn't it. Too fast. Here is a little video to put a smile on your face. Every time we go to the park on a walk, Lola loves rolling around in the grass. Here is something to hopefully start your Monday with a smile.

What Lola Did This Weekend
Lola had a pretty good weekend. And by the end of is she was zonked out. Here is what she did.
There were plenty of walks, morning, noon and night. Lola loves walks regardless of the time of day.
Lola thought she would be nice and help me put the groceries away.
And in the process she found the surprise I bought for her.
She got to go on a car ride and play with her buddy, Otis. And do some squirrel patrolling.
And here is the most dramatic thing that happened this weekend. I can home to this after I went to dispose of the old couch.
Are you thinking the same thing I thought?
Don't worry the couch is still in one piece. It was actually an old pillow that got left on the floor. Hope you all had a good weekend. Even though it went way too fast. Happy Monday!
