We got a couple inches of snow yesterday but it was a balmy 25 degrees. So we got out for a walk. And Lola was beyond happy. I think she was starting to get cabin fever. Here are a few pictures. Sorry, they are not great because they were on my phone and it was getting dark.

Finally, A Walk
We have had zero or sub-zero temperatures since Monday. `So we have not been able to go for walks since Monday. It was extremely cold. Lola would go out to her business and be back in the house in less then a minute. And then she would lay down right in front of the space heater so she could warm up.

Look at the fun snow! I love to play in it and then curl up afterward :)
ReplyDeleteIf it wasn't for Lola's brown spots, she'd blend right in with the snow! hehe

Glad you were finally able to get for a walk!

That does look fairly cold. I wish Shiva was a little more reluctant to go outside in this weather... My next dog is going to be a Lola. ;-)
ReplyDeleteGlad you got to get outside, if only for a little while. I hope spring will arrive soon!
Oh I bet she was sooo happy to get outside and stretch her legs! Poor girl! There's no easy way to explain to a dog that they would just be uncomfortably cold outside :\
ReplyDeleteOur dogs keep forgetting how cold it is outside, so they're so excited to go out, then they're just stunned once they're out there. She does blend in well with the snow.
